Crystal Glazed Tile in Brass Trivet

A wonderful vintage tile with an active crystalline glaze is encased in a brass frame which has acquired a nice patina. the tile measures 4" square. The trivet measures 4 9/16" square and sits 1/2" tall. The back has four brass feet, with remains of  rubber bumpers. Someone had written AE Tile on the back. Probably an accurate attribution for the American Encaustic Tile Company, AETCO.  An other possibility is Pewabic as thiles from this company are also found in these frames. The tile is in perfect condition with no wear. A very uncommon and desirable glaze for this company.
