Free Form Tile by Mosaic

A six-inch square tile in the Formfree line by the Mosaic Tile Company. Introduced around 1950 these mid century modern tiles were marketed by stating that you can blindfold your tilesetter and he couldn't make a mistake in the design. No matter which way you position them they flow together. These are made from a dust pressed clay, suitable for indoor use. The back is marked MOSAIC MADE IN USA. The tile is in excellent condition and comes from new old stock.  about 20 tiles are available, more than enough for an awesome fireplace surround.
