Large Tile Portrait of George Washington by Isaac Broome for Beaver Falls

This 12" square tile was modeled by Isaac Broome for Beaver Falls Tile Company (1886-1927). George Washington's portrait in profile is set against a background of stars and is covered in a deep green glaze. Signed "Broome 1892" on the lower right corner. Housed in a hand made tramp art style frame. Overall it measures 14 1/8" square. Not examined out of the frame but the surface is in excellent condition.
