Mosaic Tile Company

Mid Century Modern Free Form Tiles by Mosaic

$ 75.00
A set of four six-inch square tiles by the Mosaic Tile Company. Introduced around 1950 these tiles were marketed by saying that you can blindfold your tilesetter and he couldn't make a mistake in the design. No matter which way you position them they flow together. These are made from a heavy faience clay, suitable for outdoor use. The back has a faint impression MOSAIC MADE IN USA. There are small chips on the corners.

The last photo shows an image of the 1951 cover of House Beautiful and the Pace Setter House with some tiles of the same pattern to the left. This is a great size panel to use as a table top or as an accent piece outdoors or over a stove.
