An Art Deco tile by Rossman of a fanciful parrot. This is the first time I have seen the glazes laid onto a flat tile without clay walls to contain them. This makes the glazes blend together at the edges. Made from a faience clay and is unmarked, but the clay matches marked examples. Measures 4 1/4" square. Very good condition but has a long sliver of a chip on the bottom left edge..
