Trent Tile Cherub Warmed by the Fire
Made by the Trent Tile Company (1882-1939) of Trenton, New Jersey, this 6" tile shows a cherub warming by a fire under a green glaze. Designed by Isaac Broome in the late 1800s the tile is modeled in low relief. The back is marked TRENT. Crazed, but a beautiful, clean surface with no wear. Small flake on bottom edge.
