This tall tile depicts the steep walls and rushing water of the Oneonta Gorge in Oregon. The tile measures 11 5/8" tall 3 7/8" wide and 3/4" thick. Impressed  signature on the back "Muresque Tiles Inc. 1001 22nd Ave Oakland, CA". Never installed and in very good condition, it has a small rub on the lower left corner and a flake on the lower right and on the back.

Oneonta Gorge is located in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. It was first photographed by Carleton Eugene Watkins, a native of Oneonta, New York, who had traveled west in 1851 during the time of the California Gold Rush. Watkins named the Oneonta Falls after his hometown. Due to damage from an enormous forest fire the gorge has been closed to hikers since 2017.
