Religious Wax Plaque from Germany of the 12 Apostles

Molded and painted with gilt accents this old wax tablet displays sculptures of the 12 Apostles. Their names are carved above their figures. A golden ribbon is attached for hanging. It measures 7 3/3" tall. 5" wide and 5/8" thick. Very good vintage condition. This comes with an old inventory sheet from 1981 describing this as from Munich Germany and "A wax tablet with 12 apostles in bas relief- blue robes + gilt halos - old mold used". Thought to be purchased in 1969. An old photo is attached to the inventory sheet.
