English Art Nouveau Tile Panel Dogwood Flowers Alfred Meakin
A pretty Art Nouveau era four tile panel of a bouquet of dogwood (cornus kousa) flowers and leafy branches. Each tile measures 6 inches square and 1/2 inch thick. The middle tiles can be situated in several ways to make a pattern that pleases you. Marked on the back A.M. Ltd for Alfred Meakin. These are an old antique tiles, not a photographic reproduction. The condition is very good, with unworn surfaces and a scattered edge flake. The back has remnants of old hide glue.
Two panels available if you want a pair! Perfect for installation on the sides of a fireplace or accents in a shower. They can be framed and hung to fill those awkward spots on the wall between windows.
