Vintage Majolica Corn Pitcher
Beautiful vintage majolica corn pitcher accented by the husk and leaves forming a handle. I purchased this at a country auction in Pine Bush, upstate New York, in the 1980's. I suspect this is a 20th Century version not from the 19th Century. It measures 7 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" from spout to handle. It is in excellent condition with little wear and crazing. Heavy in weight and high fired. We always used this on the Thanksgiving table to hold the turkey gravy. We like a lot of gravy. The bottom is unsigned.
