Ramos Rejano Spanish Tile Panel in Iron Frame

$ 698.00
Ramos Rejano 1895-1965 produced some of the highest quality tiles in Spain during the 20th Century. The company won the Grand Prize of the Latin American Exhibition in 1929. Their work was fine and detailed, as theses tiles show. Each tile measures 11" x 5.5" and framed measures 22" x 23.5". Circa 1920's the three tiles form a scene of the skyline of Sevilla Spain. The Torre del Orro, a 13th Century 12 sided military building (now a museum)is in the foreground with the spire of La catedral de Sevilla to the left. Seville was and still is an important port on the Guadalquivir river. The wrought iron is of a heavy gauge and has a nice crusty patina of age. This is a perfect item for a California Spanish Colonial home, whether used inside or on a garden wall. Or, if you've visited Spain this would bring back nice memories.
