Italian Art Deco Bowl by Pinto Vietri
A sweet little Art Deco era bowl. Colorfully glazed in a plaid pattern the edges are ruffled and it has 2 scallop shaped handles, appropriate for the seaside town of Vietri. Made during the "German period", 1920-40, The design embraces traditional peasant wares with German glaze recipes and design influence. Signed "PINTO VIETRI 318", It measures 6 12" wide, 2 3/4" tall and 5" bowl diameter. There is one small flake on the rim and roughness under one handle.
