Oaxaca Mexico Pottery Dripware Pitcher with Magenta Flowers
This delicate hand thrown and decorated pitcher was made in Oaxaca Mexico, probably in the 1930s. It measures 5" wide, 5 1/2" tall and 3" across. The white pitcher is splashed with a magenta glaze to drip over the edges and brushed to make flowers. Marked on the base "OAXACA MEXICO". It is in excellent condition without and chips, cracks or repairs. The inherent quirkiness of this folk art pottery is really charming.
