Robertson Art Tile
Antique Beaux Arts Liner Tiles (25) Acanthus Leaves with Gold Gilding
A collection of 25 liner tiles salvaged from a Philadelphia area row house. Each measures 1 " tall, 6" wide and rise to 3/8" in thickness. They're press molded into an acanthus column and glazed in white. The tiles were accented with hand painted spots of real gold gilding. Imagine in a dimly lit room the light would sparkle off the gold gilding like a night light. Unmarked, they are probably from the Roberston Tile Company. Nice clean examples with only traces or mortar and flaking. Some of the gold has worn. Twenty five full tiles plus some cuts give you enough tile for a nice project.
