French Antique Fireplace Tile Green Man or Mascaron Face

A press molded tile of a face of a mascaron or green man surrounded by a wreath. Made at Desvres France in the 1920's. This tile is made from a white clay body covered in a translucent- amber gold glaze The back is unmarked. The condition is very good with some small flakes on edges, corners and traces of mortar on the back.
